Comments: This concert was originally scheduled for November 21, 1974, but Karen had to cancel because of laryngitis. This was the rescheduled date for that show. A review of the show in the Idaho State Journal (December 5, 1974), said that "about 9,000 enthusiastic listeners" (the Minidome seated about 10,000). I was there. Ahhhhh...

Comments: This is the first time I saw the amazing Carpenters. I was in love with Karen's voice. I ended up buying every album they made. Karen had just turned 23 the previous month. At this concert, Karen brought a group of Pocatello children on stage with her to sing along to the new single, "Sing" (released on January 13, 1973--part of the Now & Then album). I was SO jealous that I was not one of those children up there singing with Karen.
